Okay, so I've been watching soundless television for the last two hours. For about the first half-hour, I thought I couldn't hear anything because my air conditioning and HEPA filter are on. I later realized that I'd muted my television last night -- actually turned the volume down to zero rather than pressed the mute button -- and never turned the sound back up. So basically I should find my remote or go over to the television so I can actually hear what I'm watching. Then again, the Red Sox game was so bad I'm glad I didn't listen to it with sound on.
