No good?

Okay, today's lyrics are:

You know that I'm waiting
You're making excuses
I'm borderline useless from hanging around

~ Jim Cuddy, "All In Time"

bleh.

I'm in Connecticut, because my father wanted me to go to the ESPN table at a job fair yesterday. Unfortunately, I wasn't told that it was a college job fair and I felt really stupid. I also felt like namedropping like hell to the person I talked to, but I refrained, only mentioning that I talked to Karl Ravech for my masters thesis. Okay, why does ESPN have a table with only one person to talk to the incredibly long line of jobseekers? Duh? If I worked for ESPN the Magazine, I could live in NYC, which I'd gladly do now. I'm sick as fuck of Boston, and there's no way in Hell (the first time I think I've capitalized the word in that context, ever) I'll move back to Connecticut. I used to not want to live in NYC because it's so busy, and oh yeah, the Yankees suck, but I'll grit my teeth and suck it up.

It snowed this morning, and recently it started again. I'm looking forward to going out and playing with it, but I have none of my snow clothing here. I only have my black coat, a scarf and gloves. My father said he'd see "Return of the King" with me later, which makes viewing number four assuming the roads are passable.

I wish I'd brought "home" the load of laundry I was unable to do Monday, as that would be something to do. I washed none of the extremely darks because I had to leave the building before reaching full insanity levels, and I didn't want to act like my neighbors and leave laundry in both the washer and dryer!
