New drug added to the list of prescriptions: prilosec. Evidently the burping I've been doing for the past two days, added to the fact that if I eat something I hack up gobs of, umm, stuff, I've got cold-induced acid reflux. That makes three prescriptions in the past five days: Percocet, Zithromax, and Prilosec. Add that to my usual two prescription drugs a day, I could be popping five pills that ain't over the counter. Whee!

I definitely can't eat foods with acids, but I can't eat bases either. They taste like rubber and are normally covered in dirt, with a few cleat marks where batters have stepped on 'em. Sometimes they get dislodged and Lou Piniella throws them.
